DESCRIPTION:
Robust, upright perennial with stalked, hairless, mid-green variegated leaves; in summer erect racemes 3 ft. long appear with small white flowers within coloured bracts; may grow to 6 ft.
CULTIVATION:
Water moderately; feed with a balanced fertilizer monthly; prefers bright, filtered light
PROPAGATION:
Treat plantlets produced in the inflorescences produced as offsets; root division
COMMENTS:
Roots and leaves have been used medicinally for reducing blood pressure and as a stress reliever
