DESCRIPTION:
Grows to 100 ft. in native habitat; palmately compound leaves form symmetrical heads with 7 leaflets

CULTIVATION:
Water well and allow soil to dry out between watering; don’t fertilize in winter; prefers humidity; keep it pruned to maintain preferred size; bright, indirect light; leggy, thin appearance is evidence of insufficient light

PROPAGATION:
Cuttings

COMMENTS:
Bright red spikes of flowers are possible but rarely develop; formerly known in the genus Schefflera
