Bug Hunt Catch & Release
Daily at 11 am
Join a Nature Interpreter for a guided outdoor insect adventure in our wildflower meadow.
Guests will meet on the café patio before walking together to the meadow. Nets and small bug catchers are provided. Participants will search for insects, observe what they find, and gather as a group to learn more about the insects living in our outdoor habitat.
At the end of the program, all insects are safely released back into the meadow and equipment is returned.
Bug Hunt Catch & Release is weather permitting. If outdoor conditions are not suitable, an indoor Creature Feature may be offered instead.
Creature Feature
Live Animal Encounters
Daily at 1 pm & 3 pm
Meet some of the fascinating animals that call Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory home.
During Creature Feature, one of our Nature Interpreters will introduce guests to a live animal. Guests will learn about animal adaptations, behaviours, habitats, and care while having the opportunity to ask questions. Creature Feature takes place indoors in our gallery and is included with admission.
