Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory offers a calming and tranquil atmosphere for a memorial service or celebration of life. Gather with friends and family to share memories and stories, or do a live butterfly release as a unique way to honour and remember the one you’ve lost. Paying tribute to the passing of a loved one is difficult. Allow our staff to help you plan a service that is as meaningful and special as the life you’re remembering.
As a venue for a memorial or celebration of life, Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is conveniently located one hour west of Toronto, central to Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, and Brantford.
Menus and Pricing
Our daytime private rental rooms can accommodate up to 60 people for a seated reception. Our evening private facility rentals can accommodate up to 100 people. All catering is provided onsite, and we can customize a menu for your event. CLICK HERE for pricing and menu options.

On behalf of my family, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to all members of the Butterfly Conservatory team that assisted in preparing yesterday’s event and a special shout out to Rachel who did an outstanding job in executing our plans! The room was bright and sunny and everything was set up so nicely. The array of food and beverages were enjoyed by everyone and the left overs were conveniently packed up for us to take. Our friends and family found the Conservatory to be an uplifting place in which to hold our mother’s Celebration of Life get together – we spent the afternoon sharing memories and stories and several of our guests thoroughly enjoyed going through the Conservatory. Again, thank you to everyone for all of their efforts and for sharing such a magical place with us all!
