DESCRIPTION:
Clump-forming tree with leaf-blades to 5 ft., heart-shaped or rounded at the base of the 6 ft. long leaf stalk; produces 3 – 5 reddish-brown spathes, 16 – 18″ long and white flowers 8″ long with light purplish-blue corollas; grows to 30 ft.
CULTIVATION:
Water moderately; fertilize monthly; part to full sun (shade from hot afternoon sun)
PROPAGATION:
Divide offsets
COMMENTS:
Immature seeds are sweet and tasty
