Volunteering at Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory

Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteering at Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is an exciting and highly rewarding task! We train our volunteers to work directly with our plants and animals, like feeding the butterflies and birds, caring for our diverse collection of tropical plants, or interacting and interpreting with visitors. We endeavour to match volunteers’ skills, knowledge, experience and motivation that best meets both the Conservatory and the applicant’s needs and wishes. Our Volunteer Coordinator works closely with each volunteer to train them appropriately for their jobs, and provide ample learning opportunities.

  • Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older to apply
  • Volunteers must commit to at least 1 hour per week for a minimum duration of 6 months
  • Applicants 18 years and over must present a Police Information Check
