Evening Wedding Receptions

Our wedding reception packages are designed for intimate celebrations of 40 to 100 guests. Receptions take place in our café event space, with options for dinner service, beverages, and evening celebration time. Couples may book a reception on its own or pair it with a greenhouse ceremony package.

Each Evening Wedding Reception Package includes:

• Exclusive 5-hour rental of our facility including the tropical Conservatory, outdoor grounds for photos, exhibit spaces and dining room, commencing no earlier than 5pm; typically
7pm – midnight.
• Reception packages booked without a wedding ceremony are subject to a Facility Rental
Fee of $850.
• Optional extended hours: $900 per hour, up until 2am, includes extended Bar & Beverage Service.
• Consultation with Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory’s Wedding Coordinator(s).
• Tables, wooden vineland cross back chairs, dishes, flatware, glasses and service.
• Cake table, guest book table, gift table and lectern for speeches.
• White, black, or ivory linens, and your choice of linen napkin colour.
• High-top cocktail tables.
• Wedding cake service, includes cake cutting and serving. Client to provide cake.
• Menu customization to accommodate special dietary requests and allergies.
(Gluten Free, Vegan, Halal – additional fees may apply)
• Food tasting for wedding couple available upon request, after reserving the reception date.
Offered exclusively for Plated and Buffet Styles, and subject to availability.
• Discounted rates available: 50% off children’s meals, ages 12 and under, and 25% off vendor meals.
• Vendor recommendation list, upon request.
• Use of in-house speaker & microphone are available for speeches and dinner music.
• Dance floor area. Client to provide sound system and/or DJ if desired. Applicable
SOCAN/Re: Sound license fees may apply.

The dining room can seat up to 100 guests. Brunch receptions can seat up to 70 guests.

Reception packages booked without a wedding ceremony are subject to a Facility Rental Fee of $850.
Reception packages are subject to 18% gratuity, SOCAN/Re: Sound license fees, and HST.
Exceptions for Wedding receptions with fewer than 40 adult guests may be granted, and are subject to an additional catering fee.
