I’m beyond grateful to have had my wedding here on July 5, 2025. Our wedding was in the morning with a brunch reception (Brunchception) and the food was a huge hit! Overall, the team went above and beyond our expectations. Communication was smooth and easy from beginning to end which was so important because we did all our planning in Alberta! Everything was seamless that day and I can’t thank the Conservatory team enough! This venue is beautiful and breathtaking, and the symbolism the butterflies provided to our love story really made our wedding so much more special. Words can’t fully express the gratitude my husband and I have to be able to get married in a place like this one, is more than we ever hoped for. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful way to tie the knot! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

This venue is amazing. It was the first location we looked at and we were sold on the spot. My husband and I had wanted a small brunch-style wedding that was low-key and unique and what is more unique than butterflies flying around everywhere!
The ceremony and brunch were lovely and we had so many compliments from our friends and family.
The Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory team was the BEST. They answered my bazillion questions with ease and helped us setup everything and even fluffs your dress for you before you walk down the aisle! JUST SUPER!

We wanted to reach out and thank you for helping to make our wedding a once-in-a-lifetime event. Your staff has been knowledgeable, professional and an amazing help from the first steps of our wedding journey. Neither Kelly nor I were familiar with planning such a large event and your team of experienced consultants took us through every step of the process. Their attention to detail was impressive and they made helpful suggestions to ensure our evening ran smoothly and was a huge success. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and we knew from the very first visit that this was where we were going to be married. We were looking for an outdoor wedding, but after seeing the tropical scenery inside the conservatory, we knew we could have our dream outdoor wedding without having to worry about the weather. Your venue lent itself to some stunning photos with our photographer.
From the ceremony to the meal, the entire evening was beyond our expectations. All of the guests loved the space and raved about the meal. Even our other vendors, who have attended many weddings, said it was the best meal they had ever had at an event. So please thank the chef and the entire kitchen staff for their hard work for our evening. We want to especially acknowledge the extra steps taken to accommodate Kelly’s Celiac disease. From the separate plate of hors d’oeuvres in the bridal suite to the gluten-free bread at the head table you made her feel even more special that evening.
The transformation of the café to our reception area was stunning and exactly what we were looking for, we also appreciated how quickly you were able to convert that space to a dance floor following dinner. The guest signing table and the cocktail area were also arranged perfectly and your ability to seamlessly convert that table to accommodate our wedding favours at the end of the evening was so helpful.
We would like to recognize Alyssa and Victoria in particular since they were the two consultants we dealt with regularly leading up to the wedding. They were both incredibly delightful to work with due to their positive attitude and friendly demeanour. They were always very responsive whenever we had a question or concern and made the sometimes stressful planning of a wedding that much easier. We could not have dreamed of a better venue for our special day and a better team of consultants to make it a reality.

Good afternoon,
I wanted to take some time to thank the Butterfly Conservatory and their Team for our amazing wedding on the morning of June 10th. To say the venue exceeded our expectations was an understatement.
Our wedding coordinator for the rehearsal and on our day was extraordinary. Her calm and professional demeanour was exceptional, and the day would not have gone as smoothly without her. For example, she helped me make a plate of food at the buffet after we had been running around doing pictures, a bit overwhelmed and I was holding my dress. I will always remember her recognizing this, ‘reading the room’ if you will and how she jumped in to assist. This to me is the definition of superior customer service.
The team provided excellent customer service to our guests as well. We received many compliments on how stunning the venue was and how delicious all the food was. Guests are still ranting and raving about it.

I truly don’t think I would’ve been able to handle the stress of doing it all in 2.5 months if it wasn’t for how amazing you all were, from answering 6 emails a day to all the setup the service provides. We felt so taken care of and you guys operate like a well-oiled machine. Was an amazing experience and I think I’m the only person I know who has said their wedding coordinators made their life so simple. The vendors you work with for catering are spectacular, I’m still hearing from everyone that the food was the best they’ve had at a wedding! “My husband and I had an incredibly magical, short and sweet wedding (it was an evening ceremony with a dessert reception), with about 150 guests, last night at the Butterfly Conservatory. Cayla and Shannon’s management of the event was invaluable. They were extremely attentive and flexible. I felt like everything was completely under control with them at the helm, assisted by the rest of the fantastic staff. The venue itself was nothing short of enchanting. On a dark and cold February evening, with the main overhead lights off, lit with twinkle string lights, it was a warm, cosy, magical oasis filled with everyone we love.The food and drink service was flawless, and even though we were not serving alcohol they were still happy to serve a custom mocktail that we requested. At the end of the night all of our things were quickly packed up for us and we were on our way home. All of our friends and family raved about the location, and how gorgeous everything was. Highly recommend, we have decided to have all of our weddings there ;)”

“When first visiting this venue I wasn’t all sure they would be willing to accommodate my vision of modern day gatsby as our theme. Since we were only hosting a smaller wedding for closest of family and friends (30), thought our numbers would be too small. Not at all. Cayla and her staff were extremely helpful in executing our vision. We had decided to use their cafe area as the reception area. To my surprise on our wedding day, it was beautiful, right out of a fairy tale. Walking into the lush conservatory portion amongst the butterflies was on point of being magical. The ceremony was beautiful with the florals, the greens, the butterflies and of course the pond. The waterfall was shut down and that is where we exchanged our vows. When I thought it couldn’t have been any more perfect, we walked into the rest of the building. They had transformed the lobby into the bar area and our reception to exactly the level of perfection I had dreamed of. I would tell and recommend to anyone wanting something extra special to check them out. You will not be disappointed by anything, not the venue, not the ceremony, not the level attention they give to detail. Your only limitation will be not saying yes!!!!
